Publications like Sensation were often aimed at a male audience but, like many in the genre, they were also reflective of the shifting roles and expressions of sexuality for women. Unlike other magazines, Sensation was focusing on a more feminine, glamorous and soft erotica for many years, before switching to a more modern customer in the 80s and sadly becoming your regular porn. Most pages are black and white.
