Jean Paul Gaultier Homme silk button-up shirt with cable knit front from the late 1980s (assumably FW1985 men’s). An incredible piece of craftsmanship in a matte black, straight cut with fitted cuffs and simple nacre buttons. The fabric is heavy and the shirt has remarkable weight for its rather flowy and light look.
This goes straight into the museum section of my archive. The amount of work and understanding of construction and pattern that went into this truly blows my mind.
Men’s IT50/L, in great vintage condition with some minimal signs of age.
