Jean Paul Gaultier 1994 felted wool maxi wrap skirt with the legendary „Heraldry“ print. A wonderful piece featuring imagery ranging from religious and spiritual motives to medieval-looking figurines and classic tattoo designs such as chains and sacred hearts that were later featured again for the SS1996 runway.
The skirt can be closed with buttons on to different width placements (for XS-S & for M-L) as well as with a built-in belt, made from the same material as the rest of the garment. The front (or back if you wanna wear it that way) features a pocket with a snap button. The button and belt buckle are kept in silver & the entire skirt is trimmed with a subtle black nylon fabric along the edges.
Swipe through for a runway video featuring a shorter version of this skirt, as well as a magazine scan from the same season and find a runway photo of a top with a nipple cut out and the same motive from the SS94 Homme runway in the very last slide.
